Bible Study -The Book of Philippians

See Videos: “Letter to the Philippines” – Dr. Tim Gray and Dr. James Prothro… And: “Paul Contending for the Faith” &”Paul the Apostle”-The Bible Collection” & “Paul of Tarsus: Messenger of Jesus” –all on FORMED app.

Why?… Short + easy to read, inspirational and not intellectual, with many practical and spiritual tips and help to anyone's life… Philippians is Paul's first letter to Eastern Europe, where many elite lived with Roman soldiers, officials, educated, and so Paul had a challenge to compete with these smart people “occupied with the world” (Sound familiar?)…

Summation of the Book? How Paul lives the life-story of Jesus, especially as summarized in the famous poem, in chapter 2… See famous Philippians, chapter four verse eight, and the meditation, to Meditate upon: Whatever is true, noble, holy, and beautiful: Think on these things…(Phil 4:8)…Read Ch. 1 of Philippians and watch: The Bible Project: Philippians--on YouTube.
